Krauthammer was absolutely correct, he named half his team to keep state and defense on auto pilot while he spends his time changing every aspect of our domestic way of life.
This is bad I want scientists that win science not political prizes...
I know John Holdren well. He is intelligent, well-educated, and highly accomplished. He is also the ultimate watermelon. He’s constantly talking environmental protection but inside he’s redder than a monkey’s ass.
Fans of the late, great Julian Simon will remember Holdren as sharing (with infamous population hysteric Paul Erlich) the losing end of the famous wager Simon made with the neo-Malthusians regarding trends in resource scarcity. It is no surprise that the Bamboozler has welcomed Uncle Ho aboard and it bodes ill for liberty.
Holdren’s big thing is that he wants greenhouse gas emissions credits to be distributed to the world’s national governments on a per capita basis. Thus whenever you take a hot shower or crack open a cold beer you would have to pay some utterly impoverished and unproductive jihadi’s dictator for the privilege.
When Holdren was at Cal some of the students took to calling him Uncle Ho (think Ho Chi Minh). We are going to hear a lot from and about this guy. I’m going to be calling him Uncle Ho.

Science magazine reports that John Holdren, a professional environmental judgment day doomsayer, is going to become Barack Obama’s top science adviser.
Re Krauthammer column, Dick Morris put forth the same diagnosis of Obama strategy one night on Fox — have “moderate” point men to handle economy and foreign policy, while he concentrates on his domestic (social) agenda. This is scarey.
