I am zeroing in on the fact that the story never mentions her complete status other than (presumed) housewife. There are housewives and there are breeders. I assume the lack of detail in the story serves a useful (moonbat) purpose. Like, how many sperm donors are involved?

When you assume you make an ass out of you and you.

FWIW, She is married. One Husband. Makes a good living as an industrial electrician (Details of which they knew). He is frequently away from home, and she has full control of the family finances.

Everything was going hunky-dory until they asked "what is your work phone number?"

"Haven't got one? Well, the computer needs one to approve your contract, It won't let me write out the contract otherwise."

Vodafone tells stay-at-home mum Lyndal Fair to get a job if she wants a mobile phone

I am often my husband’s secretary when he is at work. When I need to pay bills or there is an issue with a company, many times the person will work with me when they know I am his wife. Other times I will be told they will not talk to me, because I am not him. Last time, I was told they could not talk to me I told the person that my husband was at work and would not be able to speak to her during work hours. After talking to her manager, she actually spoke to me.

I use my cell number as my work number. It’s never been questioned.
