...which is why no capitalists want to put any money into them unless the government is going to heavily subsidize them (Hello, T. Boone!!).

Wind is inconsistent, inefficient and harmful to birds as well as being an eyesore and dangerous within urban settings.

Solar is still multiple times more expensive than nat gas, coal or nuclear.

So where is The One going to put all this ‘stimulus’ money into that ‘green economy’??? He is going to subsidize failing schemes like corn-based ethanol which cost consumers hundreds of billions in higher food prices and tens of billions in Congressional giveaways. And STILL the ethanol companies are failing like gay marriage chapels.

They just need to nationalize them, then all will be well. /s/

...in the cloud-covered lowlands (especially the northeast) but not in some parts of the rockies and desert areas.

A woman from "upstate" New Yuk told me that she hates wind turbines and doesn't want them in our very remote development of lots over 35 acres each, over 9,000 feet, way off of the grid and in an intermontane basin. ...funny! All we can hear right now (and most of the winter) is the wind. ;-) ...sun over 300 days per year and not much atmosphere at this altitude.
