Talking to midlevel GOP leaders across the country, virtually none believe that she will be the nominee in 2012. There is a great amount of support, though. There are many (and I mean
many) who are willing to help. She has a good base of financial and political support if she can pull it together and make it into something.
That's not to discount the current powerhouses and some of the new talent coming up. It depends on how the fault lines break and who steps up to the plate.

TeamSarah.org sounds like the kind of group Id like to be a member of...unless, of course, theyd have me.
They would love to have you . I am a member and so are many other men.

Fey's impersonation is irrelevant. It harmed Gov Palin in no way.
Gov Palin obviously thought so or she wouldn't have went on the show.

It’s hard to prove she’s “done” when she’s by far the most sought-after GOP speaker at the moment. She’s accepted some big speaking engagements in ‘09 and many others are pending. Additionally, she’s also the biggest fundraiser-—just ask Saxby Chambliss how much she raised for him in 1 evening!

I think so too. To most Americans anything that happened more than 6 months ago is ancient history. Look how no one cared about Rev. Wright when he was brought up again by some 527’s right before the election. By 2012 Tina Fey will be long forgotten, but that doesn’t mean the media won’t try to revive her impresinations, but if Gov. Palin has made a positive impression on most people by then, that stuff from 2008 will be rather meaningless to most except Democrats.

Anyone who writes a political column really should pay enough attention to have seen that too. ?
That is addressed to whom?

It was address on FR to the person who posted the thread. That is the custom here unless you are responding to a particular poster.
It is about columnists who blame Palin for McCain’s loss. That should be clear from the context of my first paragraph.
I am not really sure why this is a concern of yours.

I’m not necessarily supporting Sarah for 2012, but at this early juncture, she has earned more battle ribbons than anyone else. She’s hot.
Speaking politically, I mean.

Dan Quayle would never have gotten a teamdan.com. Sarah Palin has some negatives and some weak areas, but there's no way she's done or finished unless she wants to be. She is way too popular and has little competition. And she really gets to the demonrats.
I look forward to her possibly coming back in a couple of years and then being a serious candidate in the primaries for 2012. I've already voted for her once. I regret breaking my vow to never vote for him again, but if she hadn't been on the ticket I don't think I could have voted for McCain.
