We find ourselves in agreement more often than not TA, however on this point I am only partially on board. I think each person has a special role to play and that includes the "hot babes". My days of being a "hot babe" are gone, if in fact I ever was a "hot babe" so now my support role is that of nice mom. I bake, I run errands, I offer comfort, and do a host of things that bring joy to others. However when my daughter walks into the room her contribution of being a "hot babe" trumps anything I am doing. Guys love "hot babes" and the contribution made by the "hot babes" to troop moral is indisputable in my opinion. Think Ann Margaret with Bob Hope.
We are talking about GOLDSTAR MOMS and their hero children who paid the ultimate price and sacrifice for our country. Not even in the same league with good looks and the trivia that is Hollywood. On this thread, the comment I refer to was obscene, insensitive and in extreme poor taste. I am frankly, appalled by your superficiality, Zevon.
