That type of salute has been around long before the Nazis. Middle East armies used the salute long before the Nazis adopted it. The use of this type of salute by Middle East groups and armies predates the Nazi Party. The same goes for the Swastika. The Swastika was used in some U.S. Army units before WWII and long before that by Native Americans.

Also used by the Romans. Mussolini copied it from the Romans and Hitler then copied it from him.

Why does he get to use a gym on a military base? How does that crap work?

It's got to be GWB lending him "courtesy" that he does not deserve. Otherwise, since he'd resigned the Senate, he's just another civilian, who should not be given access to military facilities. Not until January 8th, will he even legally be President Elect.

I don't get this, have never seen any of this in any president-elect..........I also read in Time mag that Barry's "people" were in the White House consulting with current admin staff as early as September of this year.

I saw this article and it said at the outset photos were not allowed to be taken..in some area on military installations this is true..but that would be at say the flight line not a gym. But in anycase. if that picture was taken outside the Semper Fit gym then this idiot has a lot to learn..never ever salute with the left hand with something in it no less. Salutes are done with the right hand. This guttersnipe is going to be as bad or worse, worse I’d say since on second thought he is slicker than Slick Willie, Clinton and I dare say, the military are going to coin a nickname for him like we did for The Coward In Chief.
