Standard procedure. Is the guy a felon who’s not allowed to have a gun?
I agree he’s a hero, though.
If he saved my wife and child from being murdered I would be indebted to him forever, even if he was a mass murderer.
I know that it is standard procedure to investigate him, but the way it was worded sounded as if he were the criminal. No mention of the perp’s weapon being investigated.
