My wife and I have known a number of young men like this, who, though severely wounded, would go back in a heartbeat. God bless these young (and not so young) warriors. We have been so blessed to become their friends even though old enough to be their mom and dad, which we would gladly be! But we’re honored enough just to call them friends.
Some will email or even call on occasion to see if WE’RE doing okay(!), it makes our MONTH at least.
