They can use some random number algorithm to make the matches. That is how the gays seem to pair up anyway.

I guess even gays get tired of meeting at rest stops and toilets.

I wish Eharmony had fought this but I understand why they didn't.

For the state's legal theory to make sense, one must assume that same -sex and opposite-sex chemistry can necessarily be predicted in substantially the same way,...

Which was what I thought. compatibility between men and women is different than that for people of the same sex. Dumb homos!

There are great sites out there that cater to specifics like religion and so forth. Why would anybody want to use a site that tries to cater to any and everyone? Wouldn’t that just ruin it like all the other for anybody sites?

Things like this make me furious! Why on earth can't the gays form their own company if they think it's needed?

I liked 'em much better when they were in the closet.

What this backlash highlights is the impossibility of expecting all corporate actors to function at all times as vehicles of political expression. A citizen's power as a consumer to express disapproval of overt political action is a useful feature of a free state; recent examples include the boycott, by opponents of Proposition 8, of businesses whose owners had made donations in support of the initiative, or that of the Dixie Chicks by former fans disgusted by Natalie Maines's comments about President Bush. In such cases the relevant commercial interest had chosen to enter the world of political discourse, and politically expressive consumer choices functioned as collective responses to those actions. But for a company that has not otherwise chosen to enter the realm of politics to be punished for the incidental political effects of a neutral business decision, such as the decision to settle a lawsuit, necessitates that productivity and innovation be permanently limited by the scope of compromise between competing ideological agendas. [emphasis added]

Brave New World.

So why not just refuse to offer eHarmony service to people in New Jersey? If you are not doing business in a state how can they force you to comply to their ridiculous laws? Just do like other companies do when they run contests and there are state laws against them and have a policy that states “eHarmony services not available to residents of New Jersey”?

When the militants pull a stunt like this I 100% understand how a person can feel this way

They should have allowed the registration of homosexual people and then just said “Well our system can’t seem to find a match for you...” or they should have matched up all of the gay men with lesbians...

Because, like the typical lib/fascists that they are, they would rather use the government to force the use of other people's money to further their cause.

Speaking as a male, it has been my experience that the only thing pairing up lesbians does is effectively get two ugly people out of circulation.

What a farce. It would like some judges telling Tiffany Company that half of their satisfied customers must be the homeless or they can no longer sell high end jewlery.
