We should call the coming Little Ice Age the Gore-Hanson Minimum. ;-)

Every now and then, the History Channel broadcasts a two-hour show about the climate from 1300-1850. I think they call it "The Little Ice Age" or "Big Chill".

I'm not a scientist, but I found the show fascinating.

I'm much more concerned about global cooling than I am global warming.

Would it not be logical to believe that we over do global warming reductions then we could force the earth into a ice age. I think its just as logical.

Yes as I originally posted, Gore is the American Lysenko.

Lysenko was put by Stalin in charge of the failed Soviet Agricultural Collective. He soon discovered that if he didn’t provide cover for the Soviet State that Stalin would have him executed (murdered).

Therefore Lysenko embarked on a campaign to ferret out opponents of his agricultural methods, namely well-respected biologists and geneticists. They became scapegoats for Lysenko and the Soviet State. Lysenko blamed them for the State’s failure to produce food and hence the ensuing famines.

The famines were thus a result of a remnant of the bourjoisie. Thousands of well-respected scientists and farmers were imprisoned, sent to the Gulags or otherwised murdered.

Anyone that opposed to Lysenko dared not let out their views.

The behavioral aspects of Gore’s Global Warming campaign are a repeat of the Lysenko acts in human history.

After the end of last years wretched winter, I told my wife that for the sake of humanity and general sanity, I hope next winter is even colder and snowier (and I hate cold and snow.) It is. And the blithering idiots refuse to give up even though the number of reputable scientists who are skeptics is growing. How long can the gw doomists keep it up?

The makeup of the Nobel Peace Prize Committee is different than all other Nobel committees. They are backed by the hard left.

The hard left and its surrogates are a remnant and possible now a reactivation of the Soviet propaganda network which was enormous in decades past.

After the fall of the USSR, tens of thousands of media personnel trained in propaganda and its tactics became ‘free agents’ and found themselves finding jobs in the West, and at the UN and funded by its grants. It was pointed out by British scientists that many media persons pushing the notion of man-made global warming were recognized to be former Soviet journalists and agitators.

In short the Soviet funded leftwing was left rudderless in the early nineties and have since regrouped under the banner of man-made global warming. This regrouping is also consistent with the long known leftist agenda items in the ‘Law of the Sea’ Treaty (LOST) efforts:

The left seeks control of industry and commerce by regulating the inputs and outputs of human activity to the air. In short, ‘Control the Atmosphere, Control People’.

LOST campaigns to control inland industry by regulating its atmospheric effects on the seas and oceans. The politics of man-made global warming falls in line with that campaign.

The left now refers to their campaign as opposing man-made ‘Climate Change’. And no, the facts do not deter them because the people that comprise the movement are linked to former Soviet trained propagandists and agitators who respect tactics only, never truth.

Treaties are ratified by the US Senate. As Coleman now appears to be losing, it is entirely possible that a form of LOST/Climate Change Treaty will be passed. If such a treaty passes, the UN/Gore-Kerry forces will have a global tax imposed that will finance future leftist global agenda items.

It’s all about a global tax and the power and control that stem from it.

I've had no doubt about this for many years. This is not my first bout with Big Lie politics. You should have seen the rush of PhDs lining up to say anything government agencies with money to spend wanted them to say about divorced fathers and child support. It would have made your stomach churn. States are still obligated by law to review their child support laws once every 4 years - and they have no problem at all getting someone to sign a "study" supporting a push for anything they ask for.
