I think in future it would be helpfull for the first line in a scientific paper to be a financial disclosure statement. That way readers could do a quick “follow the money” assessment and decide whether or not to keep on reading.

While the Pro GW crowd brings forth *experts* like TV Weather Babes who have a degree in Broadcasting. Or 'experts' who have MBA's and became 'climate experts' when they went to work for a Left-Wing Think Tank (yep, that IS an oxymoron). Not to mention Al Gore -- aka ManBearPig -- who is soooooooo smart he flunked out of Divinity School.
