Isn’t that mall a “gun free zone”?
Only if you have no criminal record, other wise you can carry a stolen weapon.
Some of us are old enough to remember when you could go into that mall without a second thought about your personal safety.
Guess them days is gone ... forever.
I remember those days (though I was a child) well. Totally safe, not a care in the world.
Then when I was in my high school years and visiting family, I’d go to the mall and it was like going into Ecuador but a bit nicer.
Oh, and we had this one tall kid with us (he was black too) and didn’t hold the door to an elevator quite long enough for these thugs (who were kids themselves) and threatened him and even made the ‘gun shooting’ gesture.
Later on, in the mall, we heard a *POP* and we all looked (in slow-motion, of course) at our friend but it turned out it was just a balloon. We took those kids threats THAT Seriously and that was probably 14 or more years ago.

Geeze, this happened in broad daylight. The Wheaton area has become very unsavory.
Naturally, Maryalnd is very restrictive on carry permits. You don’t hear of this happening in Virginia.
Were it not for the gangs fighting over turf and “respect,” there would me far fewer shootings.

There's a shocker. Homies "keepin' it real" in a crowded shopping mall on Christmas Eve.
I feel sorry for people who have invested in shopping malls only to see them overrun with thugs and violence that has scared off regular customers.
Hate to say it, but some people just need killing. And I’m non-demoninational about who qualifies. Regardless of race, color, creed, religion, nationality, sexuality, party affiliation or what kind of pet you do or do not have, if there are law-abiding people who live in fear because of the illegal things you do, you got to go.
Tolerance and rehabilitation has gotten us nothing more than more vicious and arrogant predators.
I've often wondered, what do the people who use that phrase consider "real"? I suspect I know the definition, thugging, dealing and crap, so why would anyone desire to "keep it real"?
A woman was kidnapped from a mall in Virginia and ended up dead a few weeks ago.
