By all means appoint Caroline Kennedy to the Senate. Especially because she is unqualified and inexperienced. Anything to weaken the Democrat DNA and discredit the Kennedy dynasty further (if such a thing be possible) is A-OK with me.

We have become what we fought against in Britian. A handful of powerful political families who just swapped lordships and wealth with each passing king.

All this outrage over Caroline Kennedy seems misplaced to me. NY is going to have a liberal Democrat as its Senator no matter what. Let it be someone who is merely a symbol rather than someone who can actually get stuff done.

You have no business in the Senate. Zero ...

I would apply that to 95% of the chrome-plated turds who occupy that club at present.

Therefore I am indifferent if they crown the mutt Caroline to the NY senator critter slot. If it isn't her, it will be a different Leftist. It's NY, after all.

One of the important discussions during the creation of our country was the certain suspicion and disdain for anything resembling aristocracy and titles. It is mentioned specifically in the Constitution.

On principle, I reject the very idea of a political dynasty, no matter what the name or party. It is, in a word, OK, two words, simply unAmerican!

To discourage idiot delusional losers who happen to have accumulated huge wealth, I think the Constitutional prohibition should be clarified and made explicit: no serial family political eligibility!

I believe that the Adamses and the Roosevelts were separated by two generations, which was uncomfortable enough, and no great contributors to the ideals of the nation.
