I remember when this story was first reported last spring. It was during the primaries, and there had been some editorials questioning O's "toughness" and ability to be aggressive. Sure enough this story was slipped into the media. IIRC, O was even questioned about it and gave some kind of casual answer about how a legislator sometimes has to fight for what's right, and his sycophants lapped it right up. It was just a(nother) play for the consumption of gullible idiots.

Putin is KBG trained and appears to still keep himself in good shape. He would tear not only Barry 0 to shreds, he would do the same for 99.9% of the DC beltway bandito bunch, including the media, if the revived cold war were to ever come down to physical hostilities between the two governemts' top level personnel.

Of course that will never happen in the real world. But if it could take place in an alternate universe, in a Barry vs Putin matchup I would be undecided on who to root for. Would we be any worse off under a Putin-run government than one run by Barry, Harry and Nancy?

Maybe, well make that probably, but I still have my doubts about where Barry's true allegiance lies.
