Give it a rest. Matthew says nothing of the sort.

LOL... You wish it didn't say anything of the sort. Here's a news flash for you. So too does Mark 13 and Luke 21. That said I'll lay odds you do not believe the Bible to be the written word of God correct?

Did you even avail yourself to check out my post or is this just some knee-jerk reaction to something you don't want to accept?

“nation against nation” could be interpreted multiple ways. To say that it specifically says it’s a race war is reading way too much into the text.

Maybe when you look at current events you can squeeze them into prophetic scriptures but that’s a backwards way to do prophecy.

BTW, in Mark 13:2, the prophecy of the Temple being torn down, took place in 70 AD, just as prophesied. There was a band of gold between each of the foundation stones and when the Romans sacked the city they dismantled the stones to get the gold.

This prophecy has already taken place and wont’ be repeated — unless you believe in Double Reference prophecies. That’s the most absurd doctrine Lindsey and those guys have ever come up with. There is not a single instance in the Bible where a prophecy is foretold to take place multiple times.
