GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip – A crude rocket fired by Palestinian militants fell short of its target in Israel on Friday, striking a house in the northern Gaza Strip and killing two schoolgirls.

The attack came as Israel sent mixed signals over its plans to respond to continuing Palestinian rocket fire. Israeli defense officials say politicians have approved a large-scale incursion into the territory once rainy conditions clear. But at the same time, Israel appeared receptive to international pressure against an invasion, opening the Gaza border Friday to allow in deliveries of humanitarian aid.

Where’s the retaliation? Or, were they doing Mohammed’s work?

From the article:

“On Thursday, however, Israel’s Defense Ministry said it agreed to open its cargo crossings into Gaza to avoid a humanitarian crisis there. Defense Minister Ehud Barak said the decision followed consultations with defense officials and calls from the international community, suggesting Israel might be open to international pressure to resume the truce.”

So much for the “last warning”

Resume the truce?

LOL, nice truce

Terrorist Hamastic Islamic Muslims shoot thousands of missiles at Israel, and Israel does nothing.

Some truce with only one side honoring it.

Don't send them any food, just a message to use the money they use on fighting Israel to feed their people.

Put it on them

When ever they complain about other countries not helping their starving people, say the same thing.

It's their choice.

They don't care about the people, heck they kill their own school children and just shrug.

The story would have read much better had the thing blown up in the hands of the dipwads shooting it.

Tell me again the worth of Islamic women?

The only time women and children are given notice is when a US rocket blows them up. When they get hit by Muslim rockets they are simply counted off as getting a short cut to paradise.

.....then I am guilty....

Meanwhile, The clouds are clearing on the west bank. A US general has been training a large force of Palestinians in Jordan. They announced major investment and tourist hotels and accommodations in Bethlehem this weekend. There were the largest crowds of tourists in a very long time.

It seems to me that W has quietly brought about change on the Westbank and effectively split off Gaza and Hamas.

Gaza is fending fpr its self and may die in the process.

There is no truce. Israel is preparing to invade Gaza again because of all the rocket attacks. They know that they will get ZERO support from an Obama Administration so they are preparing for it now

......For what purpose?......

I can't give long detailed specifics. I heard a report that it will be police, internal security and military. The trainees were isolated from the radicals and given real professional training.

The force is the antithesis of the mob in Gaza, in my view.

Goal!

It's a shame the two children had to die. However, the Pali's generally have no problem killing children.

it’s not a shame at all, those school girls are nothing but future terrorist incubators, so it’s a good thing they died.

you see, who said terrorists can’t do anything right?
they kill muslims much better they we do.
