This guy cannot do his analysis. 1 in 7 GDP dollars goes into health care. That is about all that the health care system can get. We can fuss with it around the edges, but the reason it is broke has more to do with how we pay for it and how we manage it (way too much bureaucracy) than in how much we pay for it.
Health care is not the issue. A lot of sad people will *believe* it is the issue when they support it, but the real issue is power.
Almost every single thing a person does in some way affects his/her health. What you eat, where you live, where you work, what you drive, anything.
Once the Federal Gov’t is on the hook to pay for your health care, they will have a say in everything you do.
And you thought the Interstate Commerce Clause was bad.
