A ceremony arranged for his grandmother, whom he lost during the election process, may end up causing quite a headache for Barack Obama.

In a ceremony held in Hawaii, Obama, teary-eyed, poured his grandmother's ashes into the sea from the sand-lined shore. Environmentalists were quick to stand up against the move.

The reason behind the contention was the state's Department of Land and Natural Resources Protection Law, which prohibits ashes from being dropped into the ocean. According to the regulation in place, ashes must be poured at a distance of at least three nautical miles.

Thanks, melt. While it is interesting to learn that BO has gaffed yet again, this occasion being a violation of an environmental regulation, I'm not seeing a direct GW tie-in. :-)

This is nothing that a couple of “carbon credits” won’t cure.

This must be another of the EPA related rules and regulations. Let us just hope that Obama treats other nonsensical rules by EPA in the same manner. Or, he allows others with common sense to disregard oppressive rules.

Come on now. Where is Obama going to come up with the money to charter a boat?

Easy. He can use our Navy like the Kennedys did to bury JFK, Jr. at sea. Wouldn't cost Freeloader a dime.
