I bet the horse could be trained to show up to vote more reliably.

> Q: “Have you guys ever thought about writing for, like, a woman’s magazine or something?” she asked the reporters. “I thought you were the crack political team.”

A: “No, we haven’t. Have you ever thought about working for, like, well for anything — like McDonalds or something? We thought you were a crack DNC Senate candidate.”

saying his experience as a father, author and community organizer and terrorist fund-raiser, his commitment to public service and his deep political connections had prepared him for the job.... .

Sound like anyone we know?

I loved visiting the battlefields of Saratoga.

I think she is confusing the battlefield with the racetrack.

The Obvious Question, WHAT WOULD THE TIMES HAVE WRITTEN IF THE CANDIDATE FOR NEW YORK SENATOR WAS SARAH PALIN?

What questions would Katie Couric ask CAROLINE KENNEDY?

Prepares her to be Uncle Teddy's mouth piece? Probably as he might be stepping down fairly soon...who better than his niece......just one more liberal/progressive making rules for the hoi--polloi whilst the elitist remain above the salt and labor not.

Right.

Caroline is forceful, just like Michelle Obama is stylish and chic.

Who are you going to believe? Journalists or your own lying eyes?

D*mmit, man, she’s a Kennedy. Do you really expect her to know more than a few tens of words?

Where’s her liquor?

Where’s her smokes?

Where’s her lawyers?

Caroline Kennedy is a worthless pampered bit of fluff, an empty vessel, the perfect product of her worthless pampered mother and the scummy father who deserved such a wife.

The nation would be much better off if that particular, swampy puddle of the gene pool has never existed

Paris Hilton would be a better choice than Caroline Kennedy. While they both have famous last names, Paris has better legs, and she has released an Internet sex video.

I don’t think our idiot of a governor will appoint her-he’s an expert on lightweights, being one himself. Bloomberg is pretty much hated by every Rat in the state for parading as a Republican, even though he’s nothing but a Democrat in drag. The Princess is Bloomberg’s candidate which should be enough for the howling mobs of Rat office-seekers, many of who have enough dirt on the Governor to send him to Attica, to kill her candidacy.

Personally, I think she is the best possible choice. Afterall, this is NY. What better way to handle this than in a way that will ultimately discredit the Kennedys? She’s not going to be a major force in the Senate, and she will share in the blame that the Dems bring upon themselves.

Another poster stole my word - fluff! She is nothing but a classic liberal cliche - no substance, no ideas, just parroting mindless liberal fluff. This brings back memories of Roger Mudd asking her worthless, guilty of manslaughter underwater motorist of an uncle when he was running for president, why he wanted to be president. Teddy was as mute as a fire hydrant. It never occurred to Teddy that he needed a justification or reason for people to elect him.

For these people it’s all entitlement. How dare anyone ask the Princess to explain what motivates her and prepares her to be a US Senator. For heaven’s sake, in the age of the Messiah, what has experience and preparation got to do with anything, anyway? She would never say it, but she sure does have something to do with the Messiah’s successful coronation. Had she stayed with Hillary, Obama may not have had such an easy time with the leftist woman vote.

Politically this should be good for Republicans if Patterson picks her. In 2 years, the donkeys will be up to their ears in trouble after all these bailouts and recession. Peter King should be poised to tear her or whoever the chosen liberal will be, to shreds.

She didn’t seem like a candidate because she isn’t one. Candidates try to win public office. She expects it to be given to her.
