He will be their commander in chief. They will need to respect and obey him accordingly, as distasteful as they may find it. Their oath is to the Constitution, which puts them under the President’s command. Spoken like a good New York limousine liberal. One little thing I will remind you of, Daveinyork.... Your Obamamessiah's oath will be to that same Constitution. One would think that a "Ivy League educated constitutional lawyer and scholar" like Obama would have a better understanding of the document. Anyway I suspect many of our servicemen and women will be leaving the military as soon as their enlistments are up judging from what I have heard out of the folks I know in the military. Many of them served during the Clinton administration and will not go through that crap again. They do not trust Obama and will not serve under another Democratic party clown car administration again.

Your insults reflect a lack of thought on your part. We are conservatives, or we are supposed to be. We are the thoughtful ones.

I’m sure that a lot of service personnel will leave. Others won’t.

I don’t live in New York. I’m insulted that you think so. I live in conservative old York, PA, and fit right in, and I have never even ridden in a limousine.

BTW, millions of men and women served under FDR, and that was after the new deal.

C’mon, let’s not be like the liberals and let hatred rule our actions and thoughts. I detest what Obama stands for as much as you do, but I intend to respect the office that he will occupy, and I do not intend to get Obama derangement syndrome. I hope you can avoid it, too.
