That is exactly Rush's point and the point of the song. Anyone who suggests that anyone should "apologize" for this song or stop playing it, should take a flying leap! You are exactly right - the RNC should (but won't because they are too spineless) tell the media to shove it! People either don't "get it" or they do get it but want to use it to disparage the RNC anyway...time we stop rolling over! The song is funny and moreover, the term was not coined by a conservative.
This “””controversy””” has proven to me, One thing... there is a “HEAD of the RNC” ... I did NOT KNOW that there WAS ONE. And he does NOT have the Backbone to Be it.
#2. Saltsman gave the entire CD to members. There are songs on that CD that are a lot more “meanspirited” than “the Magic Negro”. SCumBag Media makes it sound like he only gave that SONG.
RNC Members should WAVE that CD, Name the LA TIMES Reporter, and say...”This is what DEMOCRATS REALLY FEEL about Black folk, in General, and their President in Particular!!” I’ve already upset several people with this line... what’s a few more ??

A year and a half later, now he gets upset? No, Duncan is playing the liberal’s political game to keep his position at the top of the RNC. That is reason enough to get rid of him. Don’t imply fellow Republicans are racists for no good reason. That harms the GOP Brand, which you, Duncan, claim to want to protect and expand. You can’t do both, attack Republicans as racist and improve the GOP brand.
Its been removed,PC police I guess.
It’s got a nice beat and you can dance to it.
