Apologize for what?

A fictional character created by Hollywood liberals and espoused by the LA Times?

Spineless RNC should tell the MSM to stuff it and to criticize the actual source, not the person who is making a parody of the character created by Hollywood liberals.

That is exactly Rush's point and the point of the song. Anyone who suggests that anyone should "apologize" for this song or stop playing it, should take a flying leap! You are exactly right - the RNC should (but won't because they are too spineless) tell the media to shove it! People either don't "get it" or they do get it but want to use it to disparage the RNC anyway...time we stop rolling over! The song is funny and moreover, the term was not coined by a conservative.
