The bible also clearly calls Christians to care for the poor and likens a rich man’s chance of getting into heaven as likely as getting though the head of a needle. Christ served others and called upon us to do the same. I think public housing should be used to house people who don’t make that much money-working or not. Affordable housing is a tough issue for the poor.
I don't think there should be any such thing as federally funded public housing. PERIOD!

It says christians are only supposed to help those who help themselves. That is all Charlotte is asking these people to do, to help themselves. Then they can stay on taxpayer subsidized rent. They just cant stay when they are not willing to do anything to help out the situation themselves.
