“Rahm” is the German word for “cream.”

He's Jewish, not German. Rahm is Hebrew for "high," what Obama presumably was when he thought Rahm was a good choice for CoS.

Rahm is actually short for Rachamim (mercy) and it is a popular Israeli name.
