Meanwhile, on the “independent, non-commercial” Propaganda Broadcasting System (PBS), Bill Moyers’ Journal (with its well-documented Soros connections) broadcast the film “Beyond our Differences”. This film, produced by a filmmaker associated with the New World Order “World Economic Forum”, is a very well-produced and seductIve plea for syncretism and the “many paths” theory. It says that the core of all religions is the same, and that what separates the religions (especially as interpreted by “fundamentalists”) causes wars and violence. If we get rid of the “fundamentalism”, we will have peace and Kumbaya.
Of course, the film especially features islam—and women in hijabs—and COMPLETELY omits Orthodox Christians!!!! I guess that we Orthodox are the worst “fundamentalists” of all, and need to be hidden from sight, in the view of these NWO hanger-on pseudo-intellectuals and New Age (e.g., Depak Chopra) charlatans. In reality, islam or the NWO is usually the problem.
We Christians in this holy season need to stress the Incarnation of God the Son, which is God’s way of uniting humanity with Himself. It is not Christians’ superior knowledge of God as compared to other faiths that makes Christ the Way of salvation, but God’s own mighty acts in Jesus Christ. “God become man so that man might become God”—Athanasios the Great.
On the positive side, our (Orthodox Church in America) new Metropolitan Jonah was enthroned yesterday. So by the help of God the OCA can move out of the shadows of its long scandal, and work with other Orthodox jurisdictions to root Orthodox Christianity firmly in our America!!!!
