I'd imagine that people would grasp that he advocated personal gun rights knowing he'd been head of the NRA. But they may not have known he was active in civil rights as well. Good reminder.

When we listened to WFB speak, we always had a clipboard handy to write down words we had never heard before, to look up later. His passing ended a era of gentility we’ll never see again.
Add Jeff MacKay.This is the first I've heard of his passing. He was a good guy.
I don’t care that it’s an Illinois newspaper; They forgot to mention Radio Personality George Putnam. I will miss hearing George’s voice. Thank god I taped some of his shows on KRLA pre-2000. God Bless You George, I believe/know you’re in a better place than here on earth.
Yes, I was shocked when I came across that information a couple of weeks ago.
He died of some liver ailment. But it did not say what. It took me by surprise.
Also, that smart little girl who was a wiz at basketball in one in one of the series also died a few years ago.
How depressing.

I thought I saw Jerry Reed in that tribute. Don’t see him on the list though
