Christian ministry suffers web attack

The chairman of the Christian Film & Television Commission says homosexual activists have launched a criminal attack on his ministry.

Recently, Dr. Ted Baehr says he learned about the distribution of a number of emails and blog posts that were supposedly from him or his organization. However, the emails were links to pornography, including homosexual content.

This item is a very, very simple attack, requiring hardly anything at all to do. All one does is put someone else’s return e-mail address on the e-mail and you can pretend that you are that person. It’s really not a sophisticated attack of any sort.

He makes it out that it’s an attack on him and/or his organization. However, what it may be — more than anything else — is an attack upon the people who *receive* the e-mails, in that they want those people to click on those links to get, either, business and hits for that site (and this is one way to do it) — or — they are trying to get people into other links that infect your computer and/or take you to other sites that might be phishing sites.

This is probably less about him and his organization, than it is about criminals doing their own business and using whatever means at their disposal to “rope in” more unsuspecting users (and compromise their computers...).

I don't see the Homosexual activists trying this stuff on blacks who also favored Proposition 8. They know the Christians won't crack their heads.

Tolerance goes only so far, its been said.
You can “tolerate” differing opinions- as a matter of fact, in our country, different opinions are generally a good thing until a decision is made- helps you see more options.
However, Differing world views are a whole ‘nother thing.
World views cause actions. There are actions that cant be tolerated.
At a certain point, Tolerance becomes cowering and silence is taken as acceptance or agreement.
The Time to start airing some grievances is coming soon. And thats only sortve a joke reference to seinfeld and festivus :-)
