McC never "got it"-----how stupid he looked reaching across the aisle to Reid and Peolsi---two Dims with mob proclivities, ready and waiting to kneecap him.

One of McC's stupidest statements---- when he said Obama had "broken his promise to him" about campaign financing.

Nitwit McC actually believed a Dim? How stupid is that?

McC had no idea he looked like a dumbo tool of Obama when he made the statement.

If you can’t even take back the GOP, how do you expect to get anywhere with a third party?

Closed associations by their very nation will alienate most voters and thus will get nowhere.

Why do you think it’s a good idea to let liberals choose your candidates?

Like many, IMO, you are mistakenly conflating a party’s choice of nominees and the functioning of a general election.

The WMDs that america believes were not there. The liberal media excuse does not buy it with me anymore. GWB dropped talk abour WMDs after invasion and he recently gave an interview saying he was sorry they were never found. So if there was some found like your link shows and he knew it that's worse, because he let his party go down with his reputation. Let me repeat :" It was a long term PR disaster even if you think Iraq was key to WOT, you need to keep public convinced if you invade another country that did not attack us."

I’m just “sick and tired” of even so-called conservatives repeating there were no WMDs. There were reports when we first went in that the Iraqis has to use barrels that were contaminated with nuclear waste for water storage. What the hell happened to that information? And all this yellow cake just fell from the sky? Ask the Kurds and Iranians about Saddam’s non-lethal WMDs. What about the Salman Pak connection?

Why GWB chose to dismiss much of this I have no idea, maybe he got tired of fighting with idiots in his own party.

Say what you will about him, about the Republican party that is no longer even remotely conservative, but don’t tell me I have to sacrifice my beliefs to elect someone who will not represent my views. If that’s the agenda, count me out.

Welcome to the club. I registered as an independent right after the Florida primary.

LOL My common reply when asked if I’m a Republican is “No, they are far to left-wing for me.”

RE:”Why GWB chose to dismiss much of this I have no idea, maybe he got tired of fighting with idiots in his own party.”

Are you kidding? Conservatives here see him as the hero who refused to give up on the WOT. But he completely gave up the home front battle after 2004 election. Elected republicans begged him to get on TV and talk about found WMDs just prior to 2006 slaughter. If he wasnt prepared to fight that PR battle at home he had NO business invading Iraq.

I found it, it was my post: ‘What Bush regrets During a rather candid interview several weeks ago, folks heard something truly surprising from the president—an admission that he was wrong. Bush said that his “biggest regret” was that he and his team got the intelligence wrong in Iraq’./

George W. 'Deer in Headlights' Bush

Do you really think he was not aware of the yellow cake taken to Canada? Do YOU really doubt it's existence?

Do you deny this happened?

From YOUR link "Bush did nothing to stop profligate spending by the Republican Congress."

As I said, maybe he got tired of arguing with idiots.

RE :you really think he was not aware of the yellow cake taken to Canada?":

That what he is leading public to believe. You dont have to convince me. Go back in time and convince GWB to keep public on board.

RE ::"Bush did nothing to stop profligate spending by the Republican Congress." I said, maybe he got tired of arguing with idiots.":

He was head of republican party so he goes down with them as captain of ship, or King of idiots. So he got tired of the team he was captain of and went to other side (democrats )to work on amnesty and GM bailouts and other big government stuff ? And run up trillions in deficits?

And you give him points for this?

I give GWB credit for taking the war to the enemy and not letting them bring it to us, but that is not where this started. You said I needed to compromise my values and I totally disagree.

You seem to have a case of BDS like the majority of the liberals in this country. Sorry to disappoint you, but I do not put the blame on every ill that has happened in the history of this country on any one man.

Feel free if you deem it necessary, but count me out.

Happy New Year.
