Washington, DC -- A new Harris Poll finds a plurality of Americans want all or most abortions to be illegal and overwhelming majorities of Americans want more abortion limits in law. Well, these numbers certainly put Mr. Obama in the mainstream of American thought, ay?
My God, why did so many people vote for this empty suit?
Things are bad enough. Now they will get worse soon after January 20, 2009.
Ugh.
Too late. FOCA in the wings — PEBO will sign.
I find this hard to believe. Abortion bans failed twice in one of the reddest states, South Dakota. If they cannot pass there, how is it logical to extrapolate that most people believe that abortion should face further restrictions?
Those bans failed because they were poorly written and not supported by even many pro-lifers.
If one is pro-life, why would they reject a law that saves even one life? I think that saving even one unborn life is better than none.
Yea, right. That’s why they keep voting Democrat. This obviously is not a priority item to most voters. Their own selfish best interest comes first.
Well this is indeed good news that Americans are waking up to the reality of abortion. This data will have to be front and center when Obama appoints his three or four Justices to the SCOTUS.
However, once abortion is outlawed, there must be strict laws in place that will prosecute both doctors that perform abortions as well as women who have abortions for the crime of Murder in the First Degree.
35 Million and counting.
Those who voted for Obama don’t have a clue what they voted for.
No big surprise, they hate gays too.
49 Million
I would like to see the internals for this poll
