U.S. to abandon Israel

U.S. Intelligence Official about Israel: "This is just the beginning".

U.S. Intelligence official "breaks silence" on Israel situation"

Homeland Security

31 December 2008: Northeast Intelligence Network director Doug Hagmann interviewed a highly-placed U.S. intelligence official late yesterday who not only confirmed rumors about escalated and more intensive Israeli military operations against the Muslim terrorists in Gaza, [but] warned of the increasing probability of abandonment of Israel by the U.S. and other Western countries based on what he termed "malicious intelligence."

"Remember that term," advised this well-placed intelligence official, "you'll be hearing it again."

"This is just the beginning," stated this intelligence official, who wished to remain anonymous. This official stated that the possibility for a much more protracted ground war is more likely today than at any other time in the past, adding that Israel is exercising her right to protect herself from her enemies in Gaza. But there is a catch, noted this official, and a big one at that: Israel could be about to lose the support of the United States.

"I have every reason to believe, based on what I've seen at my level of [security] clearance especially over the last several years, that Israel will soon be completely on their own… or worse."

When asked what could be worse than losing the support of the United States, he stated:

"when our administration provides more support to Arab countries [with] financial and military aid, undercutting Israel's defense efforts all while pushing Israel to succumb to the pressure of unreasonable demands designed to end with their political annihilation as a nation."

That...from one of the Homeland Security directors, folks (see link above in article). It's obvious from what I've seen from public comments and actions of some intel people over the last few years, too ("neo-cons," etc.). ...not to mention intel/security links in the State Dept.

“But, Lord, Lord ... would you destroy America if 100 righteous men can be found there? ... Fifty? ... Ten?”

I'm sure He can find 100 righteous men, just not in Congress

I met an Israeli here a couple of years ago. He had fought in the IDF for four years.

He said that people just don't get it. He said Israel is NOT fighting over real estate.

He told me that Israel is fighting for every human being to worship as he or she chooses, without fear of being bombed, burned to death, or beheaded in the process.

Inadvertently, I gave the impression that were the US to abandon Israel, the US would collapse immediately. But a country is only as good as its word. If we abandon Israel after 50+ years of support, why should anyone want our support?

Israel as a nation for Jews (noting here that Jesus was a Jew, as was his mother Mary) was created entirely because of the U.S. We have armed and defended Israel ever since. We are also the eagle plucked out of the lion, the U.K., being the fulfillment of prophecy in Rev and Dan.

So frankly, it does not matter what anyone thinks of it, the U.S. will defend Israel, always. And we’ll do a great job of it.

God is the SAME yesterday, today and tomorrow. Christ did not die to be a free pass for people to do whatever, when ever they want. He died to give you the power to overcome your fleshly nature. There are alot of people flinging around the name of Jesus...so what??? Which Christ is it??
The Christ who changes a life?? or the anti-christ who says..don’t worry about it...you made your 3 min. show of righteousness..now go live like you want. I don’t think Christ was sacrificed for that!!

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father, which is in heaven. (Matthew 7:21)

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Matthew 7:22-23)

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me. (John 14:15,21,23-24)

UNLESS a man REPENTS (turns from his evil ways...not just the lip service of oh..sooorry.) he will NOT enter the Kingdom of Heaven. I repeat NOT ENTER!! REPENT!! while you still can!

All:

It’s treason to support the enemy for an ally. America is no place for your arguments for aiding and abetting the enemy or for opposing support of our ally—one of the very few allies who hasn’t engaged in appeasement cowardice with the enemy (e.g., western European appeasements).

Correction:

It’s treason to support the enemy by opposing an ally.

Maybe this is the event that Biden warned about that would happen in the first few months of an Obama presidency.

He said the decisions made would appear to be wrong and unpopular.

No. Ezekiel 38 clearly states when Israel fights the war with Russia and Iran they will stand alone. It is then that God Himself will fight for them.
I am unclear if this is a result of the war happening after the Rapture, or just the result of a corrupt administration. But Israel will be abandoned by all but God.

So I prove you wrong and you change the subject?

How did you prove me wrong? I asked that if the US couldn't survive without Israel, how did we manage before 1948?

You brought up the reasonable point that, while the modern nation-state of Israel started in 1948, one could say Israel always existed. OK.

So then, is it your contention that the US's growth in, say, the 1800's was due to the existence of Israel? Or our support for Israel? Or what?

Genesis 12:3

“And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee...”

Lord, I pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for Zion. Please hear the cries of your people in a nation which has turned from your ways, your Word and your light. Not all of us are the enemies of Zion. Please remember this in your judgment on a wayward nation.

God is the same, yesterday, today, and tomorrow. I agree. But he apparently changed his mind, going from an Old covenant to a new covenant. I always wondered why so many Christians don’t believe that God really meant it when he went to a new covenant.

To: Larousse2 “...In my opinion, it can surely be no coincidence that the most humane place in all of the Middle East is surrounded by barbarians who wish to extinguish it in the exact degree to which they systematically abuse their own children. As a matter of fact, a couple of days ago a reader sent me this link to a piece in the Claremont Review on child sacrifice. In it, the author recalls Golda Meir’s famous remark about how “peace with the Palestinians will be possible when they love their own children more than they hate the Israelis. In saying so, she touched upon a fundamental difference between pagan and biblical religion: the presence or absence of child sacrifice.... Many ancient peoples believed in sacrificing a child to an angry god like Moloch or Baal in order to avert misfortune. Today, thousands of Muslims believe that sacrificing their children as ‘suicide’ bombers in a crowd of people pleases their God Allah. More, Islamic terrorists invite the death of children by placing their military and political headquarters in residential areas which they know their enemies will strike.” Folks, is this not an obvious, if horrid—and therefore denied—truth about mankind in general and the Islamic world in particular? The author concludes his piece on a pessimistic note, speculating that “if the current intellectuals’ project of undermining the Biblical traditions of the Western world continues unabated..., rather than embracing some new, ‘enlightened’ philosophy which previous generations were supposedly too dull to conceive or practice, likely we will wind up with ancient paganism instead.” This is exactly what I have stated in the past. Naive secularists believe that if we can only eliminate religion, then we will end up with a scientific and rational worldview. Not so. Eliminate religion—specifically, Judeo-Christian religion—and pagan magic rushes in to fill the breach. If your three eyes are opened, you only see it everywhere. As the writer puts it, “Paganism has the advantage of being older than Christianity, the faith which arouses most of the hatred of the pseudo-intellectuals of our time.... Much of Islam today seems to have more in common with the pagan religions which preceded its founding in the seventh century. No clearer case of child sacrifice exists now than radical Islam’s cult of suicide bombings...” Who is that voice telling Muslims to murder children—both their own and others’? Could it be the same voice that told Abraham to sacrifice Isaac? No: could it possibly not be the same voice? As a psychologist, I see the story of Abraham and Isaac as a primordial, archetypal tale of how barbarous pagans stopped listening to their psychotic, child-hating “god,” and instead took a right turn in history, discovered the God of Love, and became the Jews that we know and love. That little crack of light that opened up in antiquity runs in a straight line to us. Another line leads to contemporary Islam and its allies among the international Left. It is so obvious, and yet people do not see. This occasionally causes me real despair, as if the foundations of the West are being eroded in plain sight, on one side by Islamic do-badders, on the other side by leftist do-gooders. ...” [snip]
