MSM Idiot: Caroline Kennedy is qualified to be a US Senator because she had no drug arrests or overdoses, and no rape trials, unlike her cousins, and no Chappaquiddick!

Combine “Let’s Make a Deal”, “American Idol”, “Deal or No Deal” and “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader” and you have American politics now. No honor, no honesty. It’s a game to them.

You know, you might be onto something, you know.

She'll probably have to register to vote, you know, one day, you know.

When you see the stories they printed and made up about Sarah Palin and her family; especially her little boy and how they let a rapist off like Bill Clinton choosing instead to harrass the poor victim; the only thing you can say about the MSM is they are sick and depraved.

I don’t watch or listen to them anymore.

Caroline Kennedy:

"I was really surprised and dismayed by my voting record. I'm glad it's been brought to my attention."

Not to be outdone, her uncle Ted Kennedy chimed in:

"I was really surprised and dismayed by my drunk-driving record. I'm glad it's been brought to my attention."

Regards,

Geeze, Senator Bubba? Hmmmm.. What would keep the Toon from flapping his yap, " If I was president.. or When I was president..."

Two Clintons flapping their yaps all the time?

I'm not sure 0Bomba would approve.

It is actually frightening - the media are the propagandists for the ruling class and about half of the country would love to be “ruled” by a corrupt, incompetent dynasty, as long as the dynasty delivers the promised bread and circuses. Add to that the fact that the new administration will do everything it can to censor independent news sources. The American republic is just a faded memory.

I thought that even the MSM, which opposed both President Bush and Hillary (at least partly) on the grounds that the American people don’t need any more political dynasties, would run away from a Senator-select Schlossberg. The last Kennedy who wasn’t totally compromised was John-John, and now he’s gone. The dynasty should have ended then and there. I guess this clears the decks for Senator Jeb Bush.

Sarah Palin is a qualified, competent woman, who would have made a fine President if needed. Caroline Kennedy is a befuddled, cloistered and spoon–fed trust fund baby with no business near real decisions.

The MSM is in never-never land these days. What a rude awakening is in store...

Man, I hope the NYT goes under. I’m afraid someone is going to prop them up.

Never mind if the Republican half of the country feels sickened by the obsession.

this is not true. JFK is the second most popular President (behind Reagan) on FR, if you take the # of positive comments : negative comments, with some threshold above background noise. Freepers older than 45, like Bozell, he's probably right.

Sad to say, Caroline Kennedy is probably just as qualified to be a US Senator as the woman she hopes to replace, Hillary Clinton, was, when Hillary took that job.

If Caroline is not trading on the Kennedy name, why doesn’t she use her married name?

The United States is slowly leaving its republican era and transitioning to its imperial era.

While I’m not in disagreement with anything said here about Caroline K., L. Brent is “pot-kettle” .
L. Brent’s father was friends with William Buckley at Yale. So friendly, he married WFB’s sister Patricia...thus, Bill Buckley is L. Brent’s uncle.
He has ridden his conservative connections hard, to the point that he has made a living with a career as a Professional P. O. (Perpetually Offended) member of the East Coast establishment Right.

He is the Jesse Jackson of the right.

Unfortunately, given the people who the voters have been electing to public office recently, these "qualifications" really do make her a moral standout over a lot of members of the house and senate.

At least she's never been caught smoking crack on tape, saying "the bitch set me up!" or impeached for taking bribes, or having the FBI find $90,000 in marked bills in her freezer (though the last did lose this time around - maybe there is a limit to what voters will accept)

BTW, I rode a pony when I was little. Does that make me eligible to be appointed to the NY senate seat? I've certainly spend more time living in NY state than Hillary did when she was elected to the senate by NY.

“I grew up in the 70s so I’d say I was a typical member of that generation.”

That’s true. Almost everyone I know who grew up in the 70s is just like CK. Most of them have net worths in the $400 million range. Most of them live in $13 million Park Avenue digs. They also own propery that averages 366-acres on places like Martha’s Vineyard. And, their property is worth around $50 million or so.

And most of them have never had to work for a living. They generally have $1 a year jobs.

So, yeah, she is pretty typical of the people I know who grew up in the 70s. Those were some good years across America. No one had it rough back then or since. Even the 70s people in the ghetto have million dollar estates and huge properties in the suburbs. You can spot them by their pimped out cars.

If she would have stuttered instead of saying “Ya know”, she would be considered presidential material..
