(IsraelNN.com) The IAF hit a house in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City on Thursday evening. The strike targeted senior Hamas terrorist Nabil Abu el-Amrin.

Powerful secondary blasts were seen from the air after Amrin's house was hit, confirming IDF intelligence according to which the building was used to store large quantities of explosives and ammunition. It was not immediately clear if Amrin was killed in the strike.

On Thursday afternoon the IAF hit and killed Nizar Rayyan, making him the most senior Hamas terrorist to be killed by Israel in several years. Several others were killed in the blast as well.

Paramedics believe the dead are members of Rayyan's family who were not evacuated from the building despite receiving warnings from the IDF. Nine of the deceased have been identified as two of his four wives and seven of their children.

Gaza Residents Flee Inwards
Hundreds of Gaza residents have fled from neighborhoods bordering the western Negev, according to Ynet. Residents are fleeing inward from the el-Nada neighborhood near the Erez crossing and from villages at the northern edge of Gaza.

Residents are fleeing due to reports of a planned Israeli incursion. Israeli troops have gathered at the outskirts of Gaza, but so far have not entered the area.

Hamas issued threats on Thursday to Israeli soldiers, and said the group had trained thousands of women and girls to act as suicide bombers and kill any IDF soldiers who entered Gaza.

Rockets Continue, No Injuries
Gaza terrorists continued to launch rockets at Israel on Thursday evening, targeting the Eshkol and Sha'ar HaNegev regions with three attacks. The rockets hit open areas and did not cause injury.

Terrorists have fired more than 50 rockets since Thursday morning. One hit an eight-story building in Ashdod, causing heavy damage and sending several residents into shock. Eight others hit the city of Be'er Sheva, which was hit for the first time on Tuesday night. No injuries were reported in Thursday's attacks, but more than 50 people were treated for shock.

willing to hide behind and use women and little girls again , as usual . Is it just me ? Or are these truly the pathetic sub-human cowards and cretins presently walking the earth?
When is humanity going to wise up and wholeheartedly reject this ridiculous & heinous cult they try to foist off as a major ‘religion’ ?

Perhaps the Israelis are getting some inside help. Could there be some Gazans who don’t like Hamas?

I’d bet the IDF are getting lots of intelligence from palestinians.

Ah, yes. This is the way real men defend their country and their families... < /s>

I'm shocked that anybody in their right mind would consider such a statement to be positive propaganda.

It says much about the truly perverted mind of the Muslim fanatic.

I don't think that humanity will wise up. Not as long as there are leftists controling education and the media.

Muslim scum know that they have allies in those fields in America and in Europe. They probably do have some women and girls ready to blow themselves up. Being a woman living under sharia law must be almost unendurable anyway.

Watch the media continue to ask whether Israel's response to being attacked by Hamas isn't just a little too severe. I think they use the term “proportionality” to paint Israel's response as unreasonable.

That blond leftist idiot Megyn Kelley of Fox News hammered that theme while the person she was interviewing tried to point out that Hamas deliberately imbeds itself within groups of civilians, hoping that some women and children will be killed.

I sincerely hope that Israel continues to target and kill Hamas members for as long as it takes to destroy them as a viable terrorist threat in Gaza. The women and children killed in the process are the responsibility of the terrorists.

I think you are correct on all points.
This would be a good time for the Mossad to get busy
and finish off those Hamas leaders hiding out in Syria and
take out Hassan Nassrullah for good measure .

There should be a note in the terrorist handbook: “Do not store explosives in your house. Despite the ease and convenience of just picking up a bomb belt, IED, or boobytrapped toy from your spare room and going to jihad, for safety’s sake explosives should be stored in a separate, neutral location, such as a hospital or an elementary school.”

Secondaries are always very satisfying.

A guy I was in the AF Reserve with had a great "Secondaries" story: He was flying an F-4 somewhere over the soutern end of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, working with a slow FAC. (Forward Air Controller in a propeller aircraft) It was nighttime, and no one could really see much of anything, in those mostly pre-FLIR days. The FAC dropped a "log", a burning marker, and used that as a reference to tell the Phantom drivers where to drop, with the target being a suspected truck park under some trees, where the FAC thought he saw something.

My buddy rolled in for a dive-toss delivery, but had a hung bomb, which finally fell loose somewhat later than it should have, and of course went flying off into the deep dark. The FAC saw the explosion miles away from the desired impact point and thought it was some other team working the area. My buddy owned up to his hung bomb, and then the secondaries started. Lots and lots of secondaries. The FAC called in the clans and they bombed the hidden ammo dump for a couple of days. :)

Good story. Glad it worked out. Wouldn’t want to waste a good bomb.
