You underestimate the depths of irrationality to which the typical anti-gun mindset descends.
We are only as strong as our weakest link (in this case maritime laws which bind the hands of the ship owners), and the islamic radicals and now the priates are learning this and taking advantage of it.
The question is whether we adapt to meet their threats or not.
