DC is already a joke of Liberalism gone full-bore. Blacks are in nearly 70% of all public officials, police, fire, etc. and they adhere to every anti-gun, anti-business, high-tax Left Wing program ever invented. There are black programs of every variety, including colleges, schools, libraries, government housing, etc.
It is a cesspool, like every other Democratic, Liberal city. Murder, drugs, poverty and crime are rampant. The corrupt, lazy officials scream for more money to throw at issues that have continued to be swept under the carpet, instead of nipped in the bud with common sense.
Conservatism built this nation, Liberalism is there to hand out spraypaint to deface it.

No one with any sense is going to be in DC from 17-21 January. If anywhere near the 4 million spectators turn up for the inauguration it’s going to be a humanitarian disaster. Worse if it is very cold or [shudder] snows.

The REpublicans should STAY out of DC - give it over to the Socialists for a year - People who don't already know that DC is a he*l hole of reverse apartheid - has been for years - will begin to get the picture.

I can’t imagine being surrounded by liberals under any circumstances, but this would be pure hell.

its going to be a humanitarian disaster Where are these people going to get the money to make a trip to DC since so many of them are on welfare and supposedly can't feed or house the family without government handouts?!
They seem to be able to find funds when they want which also proves to me they don't need taxpayer's money to live!

I do not know.
I haven’t been following this too closely - flesh and blood can only stand so much - but last I heard they were expecting 10,000 buses.

It’s no so much fleeing as it is avoiding contamination.
Do you know how many diseases some blocks of the democrat party carry?
I wouldn’t be caught there during the infestation with anything less than a level 4 rated bio-hazard suit with helo evac and decon teams standing by at Andrews AFB.
To: PLMerite
It could definately become a disaster. No one in their right mind would go near the place.

I agree. But I do think it is unfair for the media to even report this. I am sure that Democrats were out of the area during the last two Presidential inaugurals. This is normal if you ask me and does not need a story.

I vividly recall "Resurrection City" lead by Rev Ralph David Abernathy. The encampment used the reflecting pool for the Washington Monument as a pool and urinal. The "campers" engaged in robbery, rape and other mayhem. It rained so much the park "camp" was a muddy mess. When the "campers" were finally evicted from the area, the park service graded the soil, rolled out the sod and restored it to a pristine state.
I'm wondering if this inauguration will be a redux of "Resurrection City". There was a fair bit of rioting that summer as well. My dad could see the "action" from his window at the Pentagon.

Greg Crist, a GOP lobbyist who was willing to be named, said, I will be pondering the future of my party at a remote location, aided in the conversation by my friend Jack Daniels. Mr. Crist has the best idea of all.
