Hamas representatives claimed on Sunday that their militiamen were fighting against IDF troops in the Gaza Strip

There are thousands of military facilities around the world that defy conventional attack. Caves in Afghanistan burrow into mountainsides, and immense concrete bunkers lie buried deep in the sand in Iraq. These hardened facilities house command centers, ammunition depots and research labs that are either of strategic importance or vital to waging war. Because they are underground, they are hard to find and extremely difficult to strike.

The U.S. military has developed several different weapons to attack these underground fortresses. Known as bunker busters, these bombs penetrate deep into the earth or right through a dozen feet of reinforced concrete before exploding. These bombs have made it possible to reach and destroy facilities that would have been impossible to attack otherwise.

Yeah right they got it all from PA. Hamass is also a good customer of this Iranian twerp, Jalili:

Jalili says talks with President al-Assad concentrated on halting Israeli aggression on Gaza

Jan 04, 2009

DAMASCUS, (SANA)-Secretary of the Iranian Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili on Sunday described his talks with President Bashar al-Assad held yesterday as ‘very good.’

“The talks concentrated on two basic issues, an immediate halt to the Israeli aggression on the Palestinians in Gaza and lifting the unfair siege imposed by the Israeli occupation forces on the Strip,” Jalili said during a press conference.

He added that viewpoints were identical on the necessity of working for achieving those two purposes.

“Regional and International diplomatic efforts should basically focus on stopping the aggression and lifting the siege imposed on Gaza… my country will seriously follow this matter with friendly countries and expand the frame of cooperation with other sates that have desire to intervene in this issue,” Jalili said.

Earlier, Jalili held talks with a delegation of HAMAS headed by Khaled Meshaal and another delegation of the Islamic Jihad Movement headed by Ramadan Shalah on the latest dangerous situation in Gaza in light of the Israeli continued aggression on the Strip.

Meanwhile, jailed Fatah leader Marwan Barghouti sent his greetings on Sunday to Hamas's militiamen and to all the gunmen involved in the fighting against the IDF.

"Fatah and its men are an integral part of this battle and in confronting the aggression," he said in a message from Israeli prison, where he is serving five life terms for his involvement in armed attacks against Israelis during the second intifada.

My first reaction was, "WTF?" then my second reaction was that this 'message' was allowed to be released by Israel, or might have even been formulated by them. I cannot imagine circumstances where some lifer raghead gets to spout off crap to his jihadist buddies unless Israel wants it that way.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong here.
