GMA has time to tell us Obama got misty but not about Richardson’s pay-to-play ping to Today show list.
Nothing going on here, move on. I’ve got a train to catch.
It's kind of odd that a guy who hardly ever spent any time there would get all teary-eyed about taking leave of his house. Doesn't he plan to return for a visit during the next four years? Or will he be moving on to better "vacation White House" digs -- in Hawaii, for instance, and creating some space between himself and his embarrassing Chicago friends?
“he was flipping through it, and I would imagine, got a little choked up”
I must learn how to do html as I want to underline the “I would imagine” it’s such a wonderful example of what passes for news reporting reporting now days! Can they get any more disgusting? Is it possible?
Call me when it's time to clean house.
I love it.
I can’t stand to watch GMA but my guess is they gave Scooter Libby plenty of airtime and all the pseudo-juicy detials.
Another crooked Democrat official. Oops, that was a redundant sentence.
OK, call me lazy for not looking it up myself,
but what is the “official story” and the “real reason” for Richardson being booted?
Oh, Thanks!
“typical Democrat”
Since when is GMA considered a news program. It is nothing more than a coffee clatch/hen party.
Morons in the Morning, cooking the news. Nothing to see, move along, please.
The sheeple dont need to know why. Just let GMA lead them over the cliff.
all these morning shows (unless they’ve dramatically changed since I quit watching the nonsense they promote a few years ago) just attach themselves to the latest fads or celebrities. and they are some of the least intelligent people I’ve ever come across in my lifetime. that’s if they can get a sentence out while they are drooling.
Interesting point. By coincidence, when I loaded the video to NewsBusters flash video site, I actually classified the story under “bribery.” Of course nothing’s been proved. Richardson has not been formally accused, much less convicted, and he certainly enjoys the presumption of innocence. But you’re right that pay-to-play is a euphemism and that what we’re talking about is an investigation of possible bribery.
If Bill Richardson had been properly vetted by the press DURING the 2008 campaign, this would not have been an issue.
