“Mark is one of the most talented and respected broadcasters in our industry and has won over a legion of loyal radio listeners,” said Jim Robinson, President of ABC Radio Networks.

Levin is awesome. Absolutely love the guy. He is the smartest radio personality I know.

btw, I didn't know that in addition to founding FR, Jim was also president of ABC Radio Networks.

Levin is replacing Savage on KKOH here in Reno!

That's like replacing the village nut with a Zen master.

People do not have the right to tortue, abuse, starve or abandon animals. Those would qualify as “animals have rights”, wouldn’t they?

How many starving rats have you fed? How many mice have you killed without remorse?

I never kill any animals, I trap mice and take them a few miles into the forest and let them go. Plus now I have a bunch of cats (people dropped them off in the neighoborhood and I am taking care of the original feral one and a few descendents, now all neutered) and they have taken care of any remaining rodents.

Actually, one time I did feed rats - it’s a long and funny story, which I won’t bother with right now...

In NJ an elderly man was arrested for killing a rat in his backyard where his little granddaughter played.

Living in a rural area for decades has given me some insight into the financial and physical harm that comes from protecting ‘bambi’. When city people move in they protest the hunters, the farmers with nuisance permits to kill deer, etc.

Okay, good for you.

Now, tell us if you think law should force everyone to do as you do.

Sheesh, you have a problem with one US citizen out of millions showing kindness to animals??

Rats and mice carry diseases and ruin crops, chew through wires and cause all kinds of damage. I’m all for eradicating them near human dwellings, food storage places and other areas where they can cause harm. But because I live way out in forested rural mountains, I can relocate them. Got a problem with that - that I choose to do that instead of kill them? Now my cats do it for me, it’s cats’ natural duty, and they are good at it.

I fear I don’t understand your response.

Do you think everyone should be made, under threat of imprisonment, to do the same as you do? That is not an aspersion on you for having done these things.

obviously some just do not listen

That's correct! But they're the experts on Mark Levin just the same.

Schumer has NEVER been on Levin’s show. Never.

You have to be thinking of some other host.

Of course not. I do consider that starving, abusing, otherwise tormenting or abandoning animals should continue to be illegal. But force people to relocate mice? No. I do think those traps that cause their feet to stick are unnecessarily cruel, better to have regular mouse traps that break their necks. Or get cats!

I do think people should be shamed for bad behavior with animals, but I do not think laws should be on the books, as has been the case with the last 110+ years, that define what is “cruel,” as that is one ruling away from being extended to some commonly accepted behavior.

The word “cruel” is just one lawsuit away from being changed to something we would greatly fear. Our Founders did not have such laws, nor advocate such laws.

Only liberals, 100+ years later, did so.

I don't buy slippery-slope arguments. Something is either correct or it's incorrect. If something is correct but one step away from being incorrect, then it's still correct.

Everybody’s getting signed to long-term deals before the fairness doctrine kicks in.

Hannity, Levin and Limbaugh all have guaranteed money now.....
