Up here in Oregon, this is a “feel good” story affirming that we are all progressives otherwise known as “good people”. Now can we all gather for a song, “Where Have All the Flowers Gone”.

A thought came to me after seeing the picture of the 91 year old woman. I remember my late London born grandmother and her quaint sayings. She would not have used one of her favourites to describe a nasty old female though, because this would not warrant it. That saying was "a spiteful old cat".

I think she would have said this:

"Silly old sausage". (Chuckle).

Yes,indeed. Born 1884 St Pancras London. Married grandfather because he came into some money at 21 years of age. He blew it within five years. She saw two wars and the depression. Lasted until 1960. She loved her cigarettes.
