The pick of Leon Panetta as the new director of the Central Intelligence Agency signals just one thing — Barack Hussein Obama, Jr., the president-elect, is ready to capitulate to terrorists. For weeks, there have been rumors in the military and intelligence world that Obama was having difficulty finding a new CIA director because no one who was qualified wanted to work with Eric Holder, Obama’s choice for Attorney General. Holder famously defended the “wall of separation” between the CIA and the FBI during the Clinton administration, which prevented the agencies from sharing intelligence on terrorists, for fear of harming their civil rights.
Clearly, Panetta, now in his sunset years, at age 70, just two years younger than John McCain, the man Team Obama mocked as “too old” to be president, will be a passive participant here, as he has no intelligence agency experience, and will do whatever the ACLU types inhabiting the forthcoming administration want to protect the dear little terrorists, perhaps even ensuring that they are Mirandized, on the battlefield. But, when the dirty nukes start going off in mid-town Manhattan, we know whom the media will blame — George W. Bush. Everything is his fault, anyway, don’t you know? Holder at Justice, Panetta at CIA, Janet Napolitano at Homeland Security. Boy, we sure feel safe.
Obama is taking George Orwell’s statement about having “rough men” who do brutal things in the night to protect the nation and turning it on its head. He wants sensitive types who won’t hurt the darling terrorists’ feelings.

It would be less damaging to dissolve the CIA and just let U.S. big corporations pass on to our government what they may learn about our enemies in doing business abroad.

It's always been hard to tell. Like when Clinton was allowing sensitive technology to be sold to the Chinese in return for campaign cash in 1996. Or when he repeatedly allowed bin Laden to slip from our grasp.

I just finished listening to ‘Spy’ by Ted Bell. Lord Alexander Hawke saved DC from the terrorists, and a nuke - from the depths of the Amazon. The jihadists and the communists were working together to take ‘the Great Satan’ down.
