SIERRA VISTA — An illegal immigrant with ties to a Chicago street gang was arrested by U.S. Border Patrol Agents at the Willcox Station on Jan. 3.
The 26-year-old male, whose name was not released, was identified as an active member of the violent Chicago street gang Spanish Gangster Disciples, Drake and Lawrence Faction, a press release stated. Border Patrol Agent Mike Scioli said the gang tries to unite all Latinos in Chicago and has ties with Mexican Mafia, the most notorious and largest gang with more than 800,000 members.
Scioli said the immigrant had symbols of the gang on his body, one such symbol would be a tattoo of a six-point crown. Scioli said the illegal immigrant had prior convictions such as dangerous narcotics and criminal trespassing, with a September 2008 arrest for unlawful possession of a weapon. He is now being processed for re-entry into the United States, Scioli said.
The illegal’s gang affiliation and past convictions were identified because of being enrolled into the Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS) at the Douglas Station. Scioli praised the program, because it allows agents to know within 10 minutes, based on the person’s fingerprint, if he or she has any state, local or federal charges.
According to the FBI’s Web site, ww.fbi.gov, IAFIS has the largest biometric database in the world, containing the fingerprints and criminal history information for more than 55 million subjects. The criminal history and biometric data are submitted by local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.

That number is wrong. That may be an estimate for the total amount of all gangmembers in the US. But no way are there that many in the Mexican Mafia.
I think they’re counting all the Mexican Mafia, even those in Mexico. Unfortunately, they’re not the only Latino gangbangers in this country.

The Mexican Mafia is a prison gang in the United States. They number somewhere around 24,000 total. The 800,000 is an estimate of every gang member in every gang in the US.

Ton of marijuana found west of RGC

RIO GRANDE CITY — U.S. Border Patrol agents seized more than a ton of marijuana Monday in a Starr County colonia.
Agents conducting line watch operations in Starr County encountered a suspicious vehicle in the Los Barreras colonia west of Rio Grande City.
When the agents approached the white van, the driver fled the scene and swam across the Rio Grande to Mexico.
The 2,225 pounds of marijuana carry a street value of $1.78 million, according to a Border Patrol release.
The Drug Enforcement Administration took the narcotics and Border Patrol seized the van.

What is a Colonia? THE THIRD WORLD IN THE USA
Texas Secretary of State’s Definition:
The term “colonia,” in Spanish means a community or neighborhood. The Office of the Secretary of State defines a “colonia” as a residential area along the Texas-Mexico border that may lack some of the most basic living necessities, such as potable water and sewer systems, electricity, paved roads, and safe and sanitary housing.
In recent years the Texas-Mexico border region has experienced an explosion of growth in population and industrial activity. Although growth has resulted in economic opportunities, it has also intensified the environmental health and social challenges.
Among the border states, Texas has the largest number of colonias approximately 1,800 communities, with more than 500,000 residents. Sixty-five percent of all residents, and 85% of residents under the age of 18, were born in the United States. (aka Anchor babies) These Americans live in extreme poverty and often are unaware of the services that the United States and Texas can provide for them. Education is a key to addressing the problems faced by colonia residents, but reaching out to these communities poses unique challenges that require unique approaches.
Ninety-eight percent of the residents are Hispanic and speak little or no English.

Isn’t it enough that La Raza has ripped off millions of OUR tax dollars with the federal grants to them AND Obama appointed Cecilia Munoz as Director of Governmental Affairs, now WE are supposed to bail out all THEIR illegal alien criminals?
And what does it mean Murguia will “warn” Congress? What will she do if they don’t agree - call out MS-13?
