All I've got to say is that I hope all the refuse can be picked up and gone by the 24th.
Postponing my trip one week was bad enough...

In winter, from my upstairs balcony, I can see the Capitol - with binoculars. So if giant clouds of smoke start billowing up or sirens blare endlessly or the scent of pepper spray and port-a-jons wafts through the air, I'll hop on FR and see what's up.

Otherwise, I'm staying in my PJs all day and reading Atlas Shrugged.
