Hamas, on the other hand, does not try to lessen civilian casualties. It keeps its own citizens near military targets to dissuade Israel from striking them.

Worse than that, Hamas moves civilians to areas that they anticipate will be attacked in order to create "civilian casualties" to use as anti-Israeli propaganda and increase anti-Israeli sentiment, which the "useful idiots" in Berkeley and San Francisco are so easily duped with.
