KUALA LUMPUR: More than 2,000 Muslim restaurants in Malaysia will remove Coca-Cola from their menus as part of a boycott of American products in protest against Israel's bombardment of Gaza, officials said yesterday. American companies are being targeted because of the US government's support of Israel, which is carrying out a military offensive on Gaza that is says is aimed at stopping rocket attacks from the Hamas-controlled territory.
The nationwide boycott will be launched Friday by several Muslim grou ps after they seek God's blessings at Friday prayers, said Ma'mor Osman, secretary-general of the Malaysian Muslim Consumers Association which is leading the campaign.
In addition to Coca-Cola, he said they have identified some 100 other products ranging from food to beauty and clothing such as Starbucks, Colgate, McDonald's and Maybelline.
Are there any Muslim made products we can boycott? I have never bought a Burka, but I’m sure there is something else I can refuse to buy.

Let’s let them know we will boycott any clothes made in Malaysia and the Coke will soon start flowing again.
I doubt that we could boycott ANY Muslim products because Muslims are not creative but destructive people. Muslims don’t read, write anything but the Koran so if they boycott Starbucks or Mickey D’s, they’re just hurting their fellow goat-herders.
Yeah, there's one particular commodity the Muslim world is known for.
Most of the shrimp sold in America is from Indonesia.
Check labels before buying, and buy American. A lot of shoes and clothing is assembled there.
Bamboo products. Gift shop items.
Malaysia is a really big producer of semiconductors. (At least, they were ten years ago, when last I worried about semiconductors.)
Boycott American goods?

I hope they also refuse American funds, and refuse to come here to get on the dole...
Malaysia is a really big place.. but spread out. Hard to not buy any electronic device without a component made there. Would be nice if things came labeled “Islam Inside” kind of like “Intel Inside”.

Looked a little deeper, and am very disappointed. I also did not see the new model suicide bomb vests listed.
