“They will rahm through socialism that we can never amputate.”

Yep. The floodgates were creaking in the the elections of 2000, 2002 & 2004. Now they’ve burst open, and probably for good. We’ve passed the tipping point where those who wish to depend on government now outnumbers those who wish to depend on themselves. From here the downward spiral is inevitable, and our freedoms are reduced to meaningless words, our Constitution to mere window-dressing.

"Crisis is the rallying cry of a tyrant," said James Madison.
"Only the government can save us," announced Obambi.
"Ha-ha you imperialist bastards are screwed now," could be heard coming from Stalin's grave...

Thanks. Yup - we are going to get Kenyan/Zimbabwe Afro marxism with more open-borders, more endless Dem corruption and the list goes on.

Years ago when the House banking scandal occurred - the public was outraged. Not anymore. Ragel, Emmanuel, Pelosi, Reid, Clintons, Obama, Gorelnick, Frank, Jackson and others can engage in endless scams and people do nothing. The MSM has to be killed by cancelling cable/sat TV plus newspaper subscriptions plus boycotting movies and companies who enable corrupt Dems especially General Electric/NBC/CNBC and ABC/Disney.

I miss Bubba already, at least the clintons floated trial baloons for every risky scheme. This Zero will just ram through every idea that pops into his gullible and inexperienced head.

If Obama, Pelosi, Reid say it, look at the opposite argument for the truth:

I can't believe that he has a college degree. Well that just shows what schools are teaching. Why can't the government just keep their hands off of what we earn and let that money get put back into the economy. Eliminate the IRS and start a fair tax. Who can keep up with all the tax code changes every single year.

If the founders of our constitution could see what the government has turned into they would be SICK! We are no longer a free country... The government is full of farmers and we are the crops.

Is Franklin Delano Obama going to bring back NIRA?

Let’s take a look at our depression checklist:
- Federal Reserve mismanagement of the money supply? Check.
- Government interference in the banking industry? Check.
- High-wage policies (minimum wage)? Check.
- Ignorant restrictive trade policies? Working on it.

Eliminate the FED too, while we’re at it. Let the markets dictate interest rates. The FED helped cause this crisis. By trying to smooth out smaller recessions, they’ve blown bigger and bigger bubbles until a bubble becomes too big for central planners to control. That’s where we are now. And yet the government is now trying to blow an even bigger bubble to fix the problem that they have caused.

Perhaps the only good news in this is that government stimulus as a means to grow the economy is doomed to fail and given the magnitude of the problem this failure will be massive. All but the most hardened socialists will soon see this failure and will be very willing to throw the bums out in the next election.

I bet my grandparents are rolling their eyes right now. They both survived the Great Depression and the Carter Depression; now they have to live through the Obama depression.

It’s only the fact that they went through both of those and are now living comfortably (well, they were) that gives me hope we’ll get through this, if not by a conservative government, than by a succession. Time will tell.
