Unanimous, typo, the BBC kept quiet that Condoleeza Rice abstained.

Yet another “resolution” from the Useless Nations! Funny stuff. That and four bucks will get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks.

A worthless gesture from a totally worthless organization.
On second thought the U.N. is worse than worthless. It registers below “Zero”.

The U.S abstained. Any one who thinks its enforceable is in denial. Its a piece of paper fit to be thrown in the wastebasket. Hamas will not stop shooting at Israel and the war will go on. Israel was cut out of the discussions in New York. Its completely meaningless. Ceasefire shmeasefire.

The only one of the points in that resolution that will be followed are the ones that Israel is responsible for: That is, stop bombing Hamas and opening the border crossings. Everything else will be winked at and ignored.

Israel is not an oil-producing nation and does not have the BILLIONS of oil dollars to launch propaganda campaigns like the Palis and other Arabs.

Ah! UN!, that’s some real strong shit that you’ve passed.
Once you folks get past the escargot course this evening on the East Side of NY, please consider that you folks have another 12 resolutions that you need to pass;
- to even to get to the level that G. Bush needed to take out the trash - on your behalf in Iraq!
Remember, if it wasn’t for G. Bush acting on your voted for debates on the East River, you guys would be back in your home states eating eel, rats, or whatever.
Kiss G Bush’s boots, and the US Flag, that your 13 resolutions against Iraq finally resulted in some action, (action other than you guys wiping your behind with soft toilet paper - before lunch and dinner!
UN, Nobody cares what you vote, nobody! Put some balls and missiles behind your votes, and we’ll listen. Meanwhile, lets continue to let Isreal smoke out the cockroach nests and kill them all!!!

It's really not so bad, they’re closing down the tunnels and reopening the crossing points so that the arms can now be brought in by truck - makes sense to me.
You gotta’ hand to the UN, always there to fix things! Pardon my sniffles, I just get so emotional.

"An immediate, durable and fully respected ceasefire to be respected by Israel and Hamas."I got this far (against my better judgement to even give this garbage a look).
If they printed these resolutions on soft yet strong and absorbent paper they would at least have some merit.
The U.N. lives in lolly-land and are about as usefull as an ashtray on a motorcycle.

Why was there no “cease fire” order when the Hamas rockets (8000 of them) were being fired?
