I said an acquittal in the criminal trial may give Blago the notion of seeking reinstatement.There's no such thing as "reinstatement" after being removed from office. Maybe he could be reelected to the Governorship (assuming Illinois law permits it), but the removal could not be invalided by a criminal acquittal.
