Does your definition include powerful natural forces such as wind,lightening,electromagnetism etc?
We interact with such forces all the time.
Good and evil are also forces.Supposedly purely spiritual.
Many deem them also as measurable physical forces, and interact with them.

BTW, I agree that Naomi Klein appears to side with the forces of evil.
