Outstanding! If they are going to be on display at the Yokota AB Airshow this year, I am definitely going!
Japan wants the F-22. I think we should sell them to them.
I was at the Yokota air show in 1985. A great mix of the old and, at the time, new.
I especially liked the JASDF F-104 that put on about as much of an aerial display as an ancient F-104 could. That is, it took off with a thunderous roar, and came back to make one fast pass low down the runway.
I’ve always thought I was quizzed by a foreign agent during the show. A very clean cut, friendly gentleman asked too many questions about my job.
