Not in this universe.

Not really related but it came to mind: Say you travel from point A to point B. They are 100 miles apart and it takes you an hour to travel the distance. Your average speed was 100 mph.

Now say you are going to return to point A from point B and you want your speed for the entire round trip to average 200 mph. How fast must you travel from point B to point A to make that happen?

I have looked at this possibility for years, ever since it was mentioned to me many years ago by the late Dr. Felix Sebba, but I am not convinced that you can get enough solar power to do the job without an enormous array of solar panels and the kind of sunshine that is not available in a lot of places.
