Is it good manners to thank a pack of liars?
If Bush were speaking as a private person, sure. But he also has responsibilities as President of our country, which are far more important than his private feelings, and this kind of behavior sadly neglects his duty to the country.
The press and Obama, their chosen candidate, are determined to wreck our country, though lies and manipulation and corrupt behavior, and it's not Bush's job to help them do it.
I've found myself raising this issue numerous times. Bush is a decent guy, and he is determined to do the right thing, but he just doesn't seem to have the smallest CLUE what his duties are as President when it comes to dealing with political enemies. Because they are not just HIS enemies, they are our country's enemies.
